Mural commission for the Plaza, Stockport, completed February 2023
This is a magnificent theatre/cinema that has been lovingly restored to its original splendour over recent years.
The landscape murals are located on audience left and right of the balcony. the musical instruments murals are situated in the stalls, either side of the stage.
The only reference material available were very old monochrome photographs. For the landscapes, the photographs revealed only a very distant view of part of the audience left painting.
